Google、｢Chromecast with Google TV (4K)｣向けにAndroid 12へのアップデートを提供へ

本日、Googleが発表した「Chromecast with Google TV (HD)」にはAndroid 12ベースの「Android TV OS」が搭載されていますが、4Kモデルの「Chromecast with Google TV (4K)」向けにもAndroid 12へのアップデートが提供されることが分かりました。

これは9To5GoogleがGoogleから確認したもので、アップデートの正確な配信開始日は明らかにされていないものの、まもなくアップデートが提供されるとのこと、

また、アップデートにより4K UIのサポートなどが追加されるものとみられています。

なお、「Chromecast with Google TV (HD)」は4,980円、「Chromecast with Google TV (4K)」は7,600円でGoogle ストアなどで購入可能です。
